You can choose a selection of different bulbs to get a succession of blooms from summer time through to autumn, ensuring that enchanting new colours and varieties are a given feature of your garden.
Generally speaking most summer flowering bulbs need to be planted, dependent on variety, between March and May.
In borders aim to plant in groups of at least 5 as this will make a fantastic show at flowering time. Bulbs are also ideal for use in pots and container.
