Decorative Aggregates

Using decorative gravels not only brings colours and textures to compliment your garden space but will also help retain moisture in the summer, discourage slugs and snails and if laid on top of a suitable membrane, as we recommend, will give good weed control.

As a rough guide, depending on aggregate choice and ground conditions, you will need 3 packs to cover a 1 metre square area to a depth of 40mm.

Example.
1m x 1m area at 40mm deep (3 bags needed)
2m x 1m area at 40mm deep (6 bags needed)
